Too many people, not enough room!
We were very disappointed after driving 300 miles to see Operation Mincemeat due to the venue's poor management of the crowd. Live Nation's email about Stevie Nicks advised arriving early to avoid delays, but despite leaving from our air b&b in Moses Lake, just a 35-minute drive away, we ended up stuck in a line of cars for 2.5 hours only 7 miles from the Gorge Amphitheater. Missing her opening performance was frustrating, and once inside, finding a good spot was nearly impossible due to the large crowd. The GA Lawn area was overcrowded, making it difficult to move around and receive assistance in case of an emergency. It seems like there were too many tickets sold for the event, causing these issues. Live Nation should have disclosed the number of tickets sold to help attendees plan better. Some people who arrived at 6 pm found no space in GA Lawn, despite the doors opening at the same time, which is unacceptable. Parking was a nightmare, with staff seemingly clueless about the situation. Strangely, the line started moving faster after 9 pm, which was confusing.
